Alfa Power Start To Offer Contactless Solutions

Leeds based electric vehicle charge point operator (CPO) Alfa Power, is delighted to announce a partnership with Payter, a pioneer and leader in the field of contactless NFC (Near-Field Communication) and cashless technology. This partnership will see Alfa Power offer contactless solutions for the first time on their new 22kW AC fast chargers. Plans are also well underway to introduce contactless payment on their current range of fast, semi-rapid and rapid chargers in the coming future. The addition of contactless payment will see Alfa Power become one of the first CPO's in the UK to offer contactless payment on AC charging infrastructure, while still offering their standard payment methods via the My Alfa Power app or with their RFID fob. This provides EV drivers with a variety of simple ways to pay for their charge.
